I drank around the World Showcase at EPCOT and lived to tell the tale. It’s no easy challenge, but I’m here to recap my journey and give you tips and tricks!

First off, I decided to start at Mexico and work towards Canada. This decision was based on the fact that the Canada start would fill me up with multiple beers thus slowing me down before the liquor heavy countries. Also, completing this challenge is quite costly so allot roughly $120 for alcohol and some money for snacks. You’ll need to snack at some point on the route to soak up some of the alcohol!

Stop 1: Mexico

Strawberry Margarita – low alcohol content, instant brain freeze

Stop 2: Norway

Einstok White Ale – very smooth beer, reminded me of German beers

Stop 3: China

Peach Snap! – terrible, too sweet

Stop 4: Germany

Eager shot – delicious. Used the Peach Snap! as a chaser

Stop 5: Italy

Moscato – great wine served in a plastic wine flute

Stop 6: USA

Yuengling – worst beer of the day

Stop 7: Japan

Cold Sake – rough, terrible, do not recommend

Stop 8: Morocco

White Wine Sangria – no bueno, just not good, try the red wine sangria instead

Stop 9: France

Champagne – delicious, but difficult after the sangria

Stop 10: United Kingdom

Random Beer in the Pub – honestly was blacked out and don’t remember it

Stop 11: Canada

Final Beer – again, no clue what was happening at this point

The 11 countries took me approximately 3-3.5 hours to complete. Definitely allow yourself enough time to stop, drink, and enjoy the countries!

One of my favorite parts of the challenge were the people that I met along the way. I met someone else completing the challenge working his way from Canada to Mexico who gave me some tips. We met incredible people in the UK pub and had to be dragged out of the pub by my impatient mother who just wanted to finish up already. Don’t be so focused on the mission that you miss out of the fun of journey. Meeting people along the way is the best part!
